I had my wisdom teeth out the end of summer. Right after beginning college i started to get head rushes, night sweats and extreme pain in my head, also pressure in my face. In addition my neck hurt like ***l to bend side to side and especially back. I was given antibiotics which took the pain out of my head, but the pressure remained.
I was tested for a bunch of things. My oral surgoen also x-rayed my jaw and teeth but no tooth or abcess was detected
Neck x-ray- negative
Sinus cat scan- negative

I am now on a very strong antibiotice but the pain in my neck is still the same(really bad) and my lymph nodes still swollen on the left side of my neck. PLEASE HELP if you have any ideas.

  • Could it be possible that during your oral surgery the dentist moved your neck in such a way that you pulled a muscle, or ligament? I would go to a physiotherapist. Get anti-inflamatory from the dr, and the physio can work out the injury (if that is possibly what it is). I would definately give physio a try. Maybe a soft tissue injury.
