I have a post and core which is about 3 years old on my lower left 2nd premolar. the root was RCT before and was quite poor. few days ago I did a composite filling on the opposite tooth (upper left 2nd premolar). since then I felt pressure on my lower teeth and after few days swelling. there is a small dull pain. my guess is root fracture since the pain arises when I bite. or can it be fungal infection since I have 5 other crowns?
