  • Hi, I have the opposite problem. I can go days without sleeping. I cant fall asleep at all. I also have Muscular Distrophy. It is hard. Your problem sounds like what my husband goes through. The doctors say it is stress from work and worrying about me. He just had no energy after sleeping all night. It is also because when he got up before work he would stop and get him a cup of coffee or a coke. That will bring you down real fast because of the sugar. You can try green tea in the mornings. It is suppose to help alot. We just did a research on it. Hope this helps some. Good luck.

  • I also have trouble with extreme fatigue. What has gotten better is sleepiness. I was falling asleep driving when I finally mentioned it to a doctor. Get tested for a sleep disorder. I have sleep apnea and use the CPAP machine. That did not completely fix my problem but has helped with the drowsiness during the daytime. After about 7 though, I'm really sleepy.
