Hi, I am 17 years old and have been sick my whole life. I am very skinny because I have very little muscle mass and do not eat a lot because of my health issues. Doctors only seem to be treating me on a symptom-to-symptom basis, and aren't looking at everything together. My symptoms have become debilitating and I cannot function normally. I miss school, cannot go out with friends and spend most of my time alone.

I have extreme nausea that is brought on by eating greasy or fatty foods, generally, but can also be triggered by just smelling a food. I have been checked for liver and gallbladder problems, which both came back negative. Every 3 months or so my nausea will get so bad by body will shake uncontrollably and I will throw up, it can last from 4-5 hours. It is never food poisoning or the stomach flu. My appetite will come back weeks later. Normally, unless it is very well-made food, I cannot eat out or have fast food. I have many food allergies, but even when avoided, I still get sick. I generally do not eat a lot because I'm afraid of getting sick again.

On top of those things, my menstrual cramps are absolutally horrible. It feels as if someone is scraping a serrated knife along my insides. I can occassionally feel my ovaries "twitch" and ache. The pain will last about 24 hours without letup and pain medications do not work in the least. I have no other problems in that kind of area but the cramps, and even when it is not my time of the month, I have a dull pelvic ache.

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, hypoglycemia and chronic depression, and I am sure that some of my problems are related to these, because my muscle weakness, pain and cramps are symptoms of these. The muscle pain is so bad I cannot go out of the house because of that, and cannot participate in gym classes, recreational games with friends or even long walks. My sleeping is never good, for about 2 months I will sleep very well, but then I start to get insomnia-like symptoms, it takes hours to fall asleep and I am not refreshed after I Do happen to sleep. I have many nightmares and are a light sleeper. I am always tired.

I don't know if anyone can relate these symptoms to anything, but it would be an immense help, as doctors cannot find anything on any tests. Please help me..! :(
