  • erin.. do you have unrefreshing sleep, sleep difficulties or post exertional fatigue or weakness too? Do you get sicker the more you push yourself to do things? If so you could have CFS/ME. CFS/ME can cause a ton more problems than most people including most doctors unless they specialise in it realise.. to date Ive had 67 different symptoms with it in the 10 yrs Ive had it. FM (fibromyaligia) is very common in CFS/ME as well as allergies to foods/chemicals, raynards etc etc. I get all those things too due to the CFS/ME. Check out the symptoms on http://wwcoco.com/cfids/bernesx.html . You'll find all your symptoms there. It may be helpful if you do worsen on exertion.. to copy that list and take it in to your doctors. Tell her/him that a CFS sufferer suggested you do that or otherwise they usually go looking at you like you are a hypercondriac. Its hard to find a good doctor if one has this as much dont know hardly anything about it.

  • Regular allergy testing showed that I wasn't allergic also. The ELISA test showed a very different story though. I have had similar symptoms and have been diagnosed with rhinitis, MCS, VOC exposure, and multiple fungal infections. Six types of fungi have invaded my body and are at a cellular level along with one mycotoxin, and I am hypersensitive to numerous environmental pollutants. It took countless doctos and tests over 3 years to finally diagnose my problem. All of these symptoms are a direct result of living in a newly constructed home with defects. While the molds and water intrusion were not visible to me, they were discovered, along with foundation failure, by a licensed architect during a home inspection. Subsequent testing by a prof. of microbiology from Duke University showed high levels of Aspergillus, Stachy., Fusarium, etc. In the worst areas the air quality tests showed a count of 46% Asp. spores. We left the home but brought all of these in our belongings and are now having to remediate our current house. My dog has lost a lung and I am extremely sick. They are sending me to the Mayo in Florida next month where I hope for a cure. I hope this is not your situation, but I wouldn't dismiss mold if you continue to experience symptoms and cannot be diagnosed. Best of luck to you!
