hello I have a problem that is starting to concern me. I have bruises all over my lower legs. from the knee down is covered with bruises. most I have no idea where they came from as I don't remember banging my leg into anything hard enough to bruise???

I was not concerned until I was bathing and my husband walked in and was horrified at the sight of my bruised legs.

does anyone know what could be causing this?

  • i suggest you get a blood test, check your blood levels and make sure they are normal, low counts can cause excessive bruising

My doctors ran my bloodwork and all kinds of tests. the last thing i still need to do is get chest x-rays done. But so far, they can't offer me any explanation. they don't think it's related to a recent sprain and fall i had nor to my medications and say that all my tests came back negative, with the infection test close to normal. the bruises started going away and then some came back and there were new ones. Any luck on learning more?

  • Hi!I have the same problem! My bruises are fingerprint bruises along the back and front of my lower legs and extending to my thighs. I'm also getting light fingerprint bruising on my arms (but am most concerned about the calves). There's no way i could give them to myself without knowing - it seems i wake up every morning with more of them.I've had a full compliment of bloodwork, liver, colon and intestinal testing but am apparently in perfect health. My bruises are really bad but since i don't have medical insurance it's a bit tough int erms of seeing specialists. Any help would be really appreciated....ie., have you gotten a diagnosis? prognosis? thanks! Good luck:) Leah

  • In response to the bruising, I’ve been using this stuff on my kids for a while that’s been working great. They both play soccer so they get cuts and bruises on their legs often, not to mention they’re just generally rough when they play. I was reffered to this stuff called bruiseMD (b r u I s e m d . c o m) by another mother at school. The ingredients are all natural and it works quickly so it’s a great bruise remedy. Hope that helps!
