Hello everyone! Could someone please tell me if taking bath right after excercising is fine. Is it okay to wet myself while sweat is still present? or do I have to rest first and wipe my sweat before taking bath? Thank you so much!

  • I do it all the time, but I drink some water first and let my heartrate return to normal. A warm or hot bath is totally fine- if you feel light-headed get out of the tub. I have read that a very cold bath or shower directly after exertion could cause your blood vessels to constrict suddenly and cause a sudden loss of conciousness (or even stroke), but if you cool down properly you would be OK. In wintertime when I would go to the gym and then go home to shower, I would make sure I was cooled down before going out into the cold air. It is probably a rare occurance or even a myth, but I don't like to take chances.Bathing after your workout prevents bacne too ;)
