My son will be turning 3 in Jan and had his first febrile seizure in April.. At that time he was running a fever and they found out he had a flu. We thought it was over. He had another seizure in June . It was like he over heated and once we got him in the pool he was fine and it was over with... He has had bloodwork its not diabetes or a long list of other causes. He has had a cat scan and an MRI and nothing has showed up. Im just lost on whats wrong with him. We had no problems the first 2 years of his life and Im worried they might never find what is wrong with him.

  • There are several reasons causing seizures like birth trauma, metabolic or chemical imbalances in the body, fever /infection, congenital conditions, genetic factors and many more. As you said you had cat scan & MRI done. What your doctors told you about next step? Didn’t he/she come to any conclusion? I would suggest have second opinion if you are not satisfied with your docs opinion. May your son overcome from this trouble. God bless.
