  • really do you know what for?Hi James,Thank you for your concern mate.I had an gastroscopy/oesophago-gastro duodenoscopy on Friday afternoon.I am waiting to hear the full report from my G.I doctor, to see where i go from here and what other tests and procedures needed.I did speak to the consultant surgeon who did the test and he said no hernia, no ulcers, no indication of and malignancies or other disease. The only thing he mentioned was that I had a large stomach, I have no idea if this is significant. I am not sure if biopsy was done, I will wait to hear from my Dr.I did not like the test on little bit, I was sedated and had the throat spray but the surgeon said he has never seen someone fight the sedation like I did, he said I nearly broke one of the doctors arms trying to get free lolI had a very saw throat yesterday from the camera and the fact I was fighting it didn't help, I kept trying to reach to bring the camera up!Now James how are you doing mate? You said that you saw your doctor re the stool sample, have you been refereed and/or are you having more tests?I see someone mentioned you go to the hospital, well yes you could but I have tried this in the past and to be honest have not got results. Emergency rooms are mainly geared up for acute illness, note chronic symptoms like you show. However if you start vomiting blood or have very bad pain that does not go away then yes go there. My advice for what it is worth is to find a GOOD G.I Doc you trust and get on with and follow there advice.Let me know how things are going, and good luck,Ian
