I recently threw up, & while I know it was caused by what I ate, I'm just really curious about the specific mechanisms as to why I felt sick & threw up. Could anyone tell me?
Within half an hour of eating the following, I threw up...
Some shaved leg ham
Lots of chocolate
Some very hot (red-coloured) chillis
Lots of water
A banana smoothie
I was really shocked by the intensity of the chillis, which felt like I had an anvil on my chest. I know the above was a really dumb combination of foods to eat, & I won't be trying that again, but I'm fascinated as to why exactly I threw up.
I felt much better after puking, but beforehand, I could hardly move. Thanks!
