I have been having off and on stomach problems for the past year and a half. I started going to the dr and had an upper and lower GI scope and they biopsied and found nothing. Then I had a hida scan done and it showed delayed emptying of the gallbladder so I had it removed. I was ok for about two months and then I got salmonella food poisoning. I got over it and now am having more trouble than ever and it seems to be getting worse and worse. I have had Ct scans, xrays, blood tests, and the only thing they found with the Ct was mesenteric adenitis which is swollen lymph nodes and is usually only found in children. I have been on meds for a month now and it hasnt gone away or got better. Im having diarhea, nausea, vomiting, dizzyness, fatigue, blurred vision, and severe abdominal and pelvic pains. I also have severe bloating, I can wake up and have a flat stomach and eat breakfast and it looks as if I am a few months pregnant. The Ct scan also showed a cyst on my liver and one on my kidney and one on both of my ovaries. The doctors have tried several meds but nothing has seemed to help at all. I have lost 9 lbs in the past month and cant seem to eat anything but soup and crackers. When I had my gallbladder out the dr looked at my appendix and said it looked normal. Also when I had the Ct scan done the dr said that my appendix was filled with air and nothing else and it looked normal. I have moved to another dr and he wants to do all of the same tests again. What do I do? I am so sick of being sick and in pain. I am only 23 years old and I shouldnt be this sick!
