For the past week I have been getting this really weird sensations behind my chest (as in the esophagus) and in the left side (where the kidney is). I can only describe that the sensation feels like some one pouring cold water inside both these places and it is really irritating that when I first felt it i had to look under my clothes to see if I was bleeding :( it comes and goes troughout the day.
I don't think it is heartburn because I am on Nexium 40 and I don't think acid reflux doesn't reach the sides.
As for my medical history , I am being treated for Crohn's Disease for the past 8 years and been taking Methotrexate injections for the past month now and I take the Nexium because I have a duodenal ulcer. This sensation is new to me and I can't make any thing out of it and need help diagnosing what disorders can give out such a symptom. Please help cause like my nickname states I AM SLEEPLESS :(
