For the past year, I've had nausea, right lower back pain and 20 lb weight loss. I had H. pylori x2 which was treated. Along with that I had urinary tract infections. My family doc sent me to an urologist. He did an IVP and ultrasound and found my right kidney is smaller than my left and only 25% functioning and also had a cyst. He said my kidney could have been like that for some time now. With all the surgeries I've had, it makes one wonder why that wasn't told to me during my 45 years. Anyway, he sent me to my gyn. He did ultrasound and said my problem wasn't gyn although I had a cyst on my ovary as well. So he sent me to a GI. He did a gastroscope, colonoscopy and GI series. He said things looked good, waiting for results of the test he took from tests.

Before I had my hysterectomy and one oopherectomy the doc saying it wasn't so bad. Well when he went in my uterus was full of fibroid cysts, endometriosis and adenomyosis. He left an ovary because he thought it would help me which it hasn't.

I wonder if either cyst could be leaking and when I get on antibiotics it stabilizes?? Any comments
