My friend has these liver pains where she seems to have pulled a muscle, and she can't move one bit. She starts having cold sweat and hard breathing, and usually it could last for hours!! She can barely talk and she can only whisper and sometimes its so painful she kinda sleep-faint for a moment or two, ... its been around a year or two.. any idea what this might be??

  • Lots of things, like an impacted common bile duct stone (ball-valve), obstructing kidney stone, an internal hernia (paraduodenal), cecal volvulus, etc...etc.... Your friend needs to be seen and start with a basic workup, like an ultrasound, maybe CT to get a better look at renal stones, etc... Good luck!
