When my friend was 15 he was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and had his entire colon removed. Doctors said his ulcers were most likely brought on by stress. He has been experiencing severe lower abdominal pain for the past several months immediately folowing the adoption of a puppy who was later found to have giardia. All blood tests came back negative but an endoscopy showed an infection in his small intestine. He is also experiencing frequent urination and a "spray" of urine rather than a flow. His general practicioner is convinced that it is in his head but I am not. Please help!
