Swollen & Bloated

I was diagnosed with IBS a year and a half ago, and a high intake of fiber cured that ailment quickly. However, in the past few months I have not been able to get a handle on my bowels, I have aching pain in my legs, I have abdominal pain changing from moderate to severe, and I am BLOATED and SWOLLEN! So much so, I change pants sizes over night, and it doesn't go away for a few days. I had blood tests ruling out Celiac's & wheat intollerence, as well as Lupus and thyroid issues. I am getting no where with my doctor and am frustrated. I work in a hospital, and they always say "listen to the patient" not just the tests. I am listening to my body, and there is something going on. Please HELP!

  • Have you seen your Gyno . for this problem ? It may be a good idea , as Ovarian problems can cause similair symptoms - have you noticed that you feel full after just a few bites . Have you had to change pant sizes in the past few months or so ? Check out another website based on Women's issues - it's called HYSERSISTERS.COM it's so very informative . Please persist this problem , change Dr's if need be until you get the correct diagnosis and start to feel better . Let me know what you find - out .:p
