Hi there, lately I've been having a severe recurring pain in my stomach. It's an intense gripping pain. It isn't consistent, it comes and goes (over the course of the day), but when it does it's quite severe.
I was wondering if perhaps anybody knows what could be causing this? It's getting hard to eat because I don't want to aggravate it, but at the same time not eating doesn't help it either! Any help or suggestions you guys could offer would be of great value to me, I want to get rid of this pain as soon as possible but am hoping to avoid a doctor visit.
My doctor ordered tests: Renal, hepatic, amylase lipase, TSH, T4, CBC, abdominal/ pelvis CT scan and ultrasound all negative.
If I take Mylanta 3-4 dose equivalents it stops after 3-4 hours of continuing intense pain. Also if I take Mylanta 2-4 doses daily it did not happen. I stopped taking Mylanta, it started and it is now up to my chest and above and I feel like vomiting. Any one has any experience with this kind of situation? Please HELP!!!
