Situation: 4 nights/3 days of low right abdominal/pelvic pain at bowel movements. Sudden onset this past weekend, dark stool (with occasional diarrahea), NO fever, chills, nausea, or vomiting. Pelvic region is tender, but not distended/bloated. Pain is similar to that experienced with long term endometrosis during childbearing years, but right ovary/multiple fibroids/uterus removed 16 years ago, leaving left ovary only. Recent (over 6 months prior) routine endoscopy/colonoscopy revealed only diverticulosis and some minor esophogeal inflamation treated with Nexium for 8 weeks. Mature active female with no major health issues. Appendix remains, but symptoms seem unfounded for appendicitis. Could cause of problem be scar tissue/adhesions from previous surgery for fibroids?
Thanks for any help here!
