hello everyone, just wondering if anyone could help me out

I'm 17 and on Tuesday i felt really ill, i was just hot, achy, had no appetite and constantly felt like i was going to be sick etc, basic flu symptoms. i kept myself hydrated and did minimal activity.
on Wednesday i was better but still felt light headed and achy, again i barely ate, just a bowl of cereal, scrambled egg on toast and an apple over the course of both days but all felt....slow to digest.
Yesterday i no longer felt as if i were going to throw up, however i still have no appetite, but i managed to convince myself to eat beans on toast, but ever since i have felt uneasy, my stomach is constantly growling/rumbling quite painfully at times, and im quite gassey, i really cant eat anything because afterwards it just hurts more. i havent been to the doctors yet, because i dont really want to pay £35 if it's going to be nothing.
I was just wondering if anyone here has any ideas? or suggestions to help me?

Let me know if you have any questions etc thanks x

  • You may have a simple case of stomach flu, I would stick to bland foods, no spicy, like beans on toast would send my stomach into pain & heartburn lol. Try to avoid greasy foods or foods that cause stomach upset, like for me, vinegar salad dressings, anything cooked in oil, coffee. If you have aqquired an allergy to foods, like milk products (lactose intolerence) you can also try to avoid these. I would keep an eye on it, I take acid reducers... here in Canada we can get on the shelf, I go for the cheapest lol. These help me @ times when my stomach gets painful . I have Acid Reflux Disease. Sometimes upset stomaches take time to calm down. If the pain and discomfort continues, you may have no choice but to see a Dr, in case its an ulcer which can be caused by a virus. Just make sure you continue to hydrate yourself and keep what you eat bland as possible and I do hope this helps, its what I do when my stomach is acting up. Good Luck sweets As EvErCat
