Stomach aches

About a year ago I started getting pains around my stomach area, I had to go the toilet to relieve this pain, the pain would stay until I would pass wind or pass off stools. Most of the time I have diarrhoea and sometimes constipation, the pain feels like gas and sometimes gets extremely painful, it is not a sharp pain but rather dull. I have had this pain again about 3 months ago and found a very small amount of blood on the toilet paper which I used, this WAS while I was still getting the pains, I was worried sick about this and didn't know what to do, my conclusion was that it might be a fissure. Today those pains have come back and have not had blood since in my stools or on the paper, but the pain is just the same, hurts until I pass wind or pass off stools. I don't think I'm allergic to anything that I'm eating so I'm just really confused. NOTE: I also feel really anxious and nervous and sometimes sweaty and feel as if I want to throw up. I am 17 years old as from yesterday.

I would really like to know what is causing the pain

Thanks guys.

  • Right now, I'm probably thinking IBS or Chron's, but I'm unsure. You're symptoms sound very consistent with both diagnoses, too. If you get a fever or start vomiting a lot, try to call your doctor. If that happens, it's likely Chron's, an infection, or something else.I hope this helped you!
