I've suffered with severe acid reflux for the past 4 years with some relief with medications. If I really watch what I eat I'm o.k. but sometimes get into a cycle where it just won't go away. I'm in one of those cycles now. The problem is, yesterday, while having a bm something strange happened. I looked down and there was this long, stringy thing coming out. I was shocked and thought omg I've got tapeworm or some kind of parasite. I saw the dr. yesterday and he said not to worry it was just the lining of my gi tract. Has anyone ever had this? Is this normal? He's running some tests on it (yes I took it to him), and I'll see him again when the tests come back. I'm just curious to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I am a life extensionist. My aim is to give the best food and food aditivies and use a wide spectrum of quality products to increase cellular replacement which declines as we age. I also have had open heart surgert 17th March 2010I have stepped up the life extension program as a result of irregular heart beat in a attempt to repair the irregularity which has been somewhat successiful but more time is required.I am also involved in the electrical system on the bocy thru a process of bio-electrical-regenesis which involves placing a variety of wavelengths and low currents thru the bodyMy body is renewing itself moreso than any other 55yr old.I went to my electro regenesis and told her about this stringy growth with a bulb end at the end of the GI. It just hangs there. Her computer analysis indicated that the GI ling was renewing itself and the bulb at the end were toxins from various sources including the operation. I had a mitral valve repair done as a result of a blood infection which created a vegatation on the valve. This needed to be cleaned out as this vegetation could break of to the brain. I was on anti-biotics for nearly 6 months. This also may explain the toxins idea. One week later I had constipation very bad and for two days I vomited all food from back pressure and then started improving since but not ideal. I had a another appointment with the bio-regenisis lady and we cam to the conclusion there may be a bigger bulb just inside the lower colon. She has seen this before and said in time it would just fall off.
