I've suffered with severe acid reflux for the past 4 years with some relief with medications. If I really watch what I eat I'm o.k. but sometimes get into a cycle where it just won't go away. I'm in one of those cycles now. The problem is, yesterday, while having a bm something strange happened. I looked down and there was this long, stringy thing coming out. I was shocked and thought omg I've got tapeworm or some kind of parasite. I saw the dr. yesterday and he said not to worry it was just the lining of my gi tract. Has anyone ever had this? Is this normal? He's running some tests on it (yes I took it to him), and I'll see him again when the tests come back. I'm just curious to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
