I have had severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, urgency, nausea, weight loss and rectal bleeding for a year. I don't gain the weight back once lost. I have seen several GI docs and had numerous ER visits. I have had a colonoscopy, EGD and Small bowel follow thru that all came back unremarkable. CT scan showed some air filled loops in my bowel but it was diagnosed as non-specific bowel pattern. The last doc I saw said there was tympany on my right lower quadrant which is where all my pain is.
I don't have an appendix or a gall bladder. I have not noticed any specific reaction to lactose or wheat. These symptoms just started out of the blue one morning. I have been tested for parasites and H. pylori, all negative. WBC count has been high.
