My mom was diagnosed with Amyloidosis several years ago. She has a pacemaker and Renal Failure. She undergoes dialysis 3 times a week. At one point her doctors in Kaiser prescribed Dilaudid. She moved to Texas with a bottle of 120 as a 30 day supply. She was in and out of the hospital here for stomach pain and vomiting. They removed her Gal-Bladder thinking it would help the symptoms. Finally someone decides to get her off the Dilaudid, gee, Drug Detoxification/Rehab for a 63 year old that never smoked anything. She now has Endocronitis??? A bacterial vegitation in her heart and is undergoing a six week regiem of antibotics in an accute care facility. Anyone wanna comment ??? What should I do? My mom doesn't deserve what she is going through. I've seen what's been billed to the insurance company. Their decisions, conclusuions, mistakes were expensive, profitable??
