For some time now I have had difficulty in deificating when going to the bathroom and about a year ago I noticed that I have a lump in my rectum. Sometimes it will cause a great deal of discomfort and I regularly have issues with the consistency of my stool.
On occasion there is blood in my faeces which is again accompanied with a great deal of discomfort and on occasion bloating and gas.
I'm aware that many of these are possible symptoms of rectal cancer, however I have not experienced any accompanying weight loss with these symptoms which has been over a number of years now.
I've done a little looking into this and I'm not sure whether I may have a rectal ulcer, however I'm very scared of having any surgery on that part of my body due to the discomfort I've already experienced.
Can anybody provide any advice to me or is going to the doctors the only alternative?
