I've noticed that certain meats are really ******n my digestive system. I find that steak leaves me with a real warm almost of a burn feeling from my stool. I noticed later that after eating steak again only this time with 10 grams of fiber by means of 2 slices of whole grain bread and an apple, the burn was reduced i'd say by 75%. At first glance I thought my body was having difficulty breaking down protein, but it's just lacking fiber. It appears that the more of the whole grain bread my body takes in the better my lower insestines feel. less gassy, healthier stool. when I mention healthy, its not together like i'd prefer but I feel like everything that needs to exit makes the exit completly. My question is this, does anyone know if the body needs fiber by means of whole grain? Or just Fiber?
