I've been having these symptons for months now, I went to the doctor's in february and I got the "Not enough fibre, come back if it persists excuse".
I get terribly stressed out at the doctors and the whole notion makes me extremely paranoid and pessemistic, hence I've put off going.

The symptoms are
()A bloating feeling as if my stomach is raised or it feels like it's bubbling under the skin....like several miniature heartbeats. very uncomfortable
()The feeling like I need to go yet nothing comes out.
()Flatulance that is uncomfortable and sometimes 'sharp' at times..if that makes sense,
()Constant flatulance
()Constant Sweat around my anus...although that might just be me.
()Stomach cramps at times
()The feeling like I haven't fully released everything and there's some left.
()A lot of mess left around my anus when I come to wipe.

But the most worrying is that when I go usually I get
()A couple of normal solid stools.
() Lots of thin diareah like, yellow stools that come out string-like. A good few minutes before the next one.

I'm 18, not obese and I've had a blood test done because of this that came out "Satisfactory".
It's really making me paranoid and stressed out....not good.

Ask for a full stool exam to be done over several days period...to rule out pathogens in the stool as well as clostridium difficile and e coli and others. This should be the first test done. Best wishesDOM

  • TheTrooper5.Firstly, i've been following your posts. I have exactly the same many ailments as you. 1) Did you resolve the hair/thread in the Semen bit?2) How about the 'weak' ejaculation? Tingly penis.Secondly,Here's my story. Please listen.I'm 23. My problems started when I was 20.Here's what happened (chain of events) which I think you should read:# IBS (possibly something internal)18 years old. The same stomach symptoms as you. It lasted about a year and disappeared. At first it was VERY painful. Subsided a bit as I got used to it. Then BLAM gone. My doctor said exactly the same as yours. No checks were done.As soon as it went:19/20 years old. Weakening of ejaculation as you've mentioned. Tingly feeling - this is your circulation to your penis being damaged. Have you noticed that you may not be getting erections as persistent?21 years old. This 'hair/thread' in your semen. It's wierd. Almost bizarre. I figure this is blood perhaps. I've had a cystoscapy (camera down) your urethra. Nothing to report. Doctor says he thinks its chronic prostatitus but there's no way to be sure. Now, i'm getting a semen test as i'm really beginning to notice this hair like substance, and my ejaculate has changed in thickness.I think all these factors are connected. What are your thoughts with your ailments? I was perfectly healthy before this happened. Could you tell me more about your lifestyle etc what you think causes this? Thanks,Rickie

  • Basically the same as me then.Hardly getting erections on their own, it appears the only time I get them is if I 'do it myself' so to speak.I tend not to look at my semen anymore as it really freaks me out and makes me extremely worried and paranoid. The hair like feeling has subsided actually, it's not as frequent but the peeing problem is more or less the same.Lifestyle wise, I don't smoke, I drink about once every month usually, not sexually active at all. I'm not obese, but I'm not the most active sporty person, I eat healthily I'd assume. One thing i've noticed is that if I stretch, it feels like something is being pulled in my stomach that's stopping me or tightening...Hope that helped somewhat

  • Thanks for the reply. Please check this thread every now and again and i'll try update you if I hear anything as i'm dedicating my life to solving this as it only gets worse with time.I forgot to mention I have the peeing thing too. If I take a ****, I could literally sit have little wees for quite a while. If I keep pushing there's always a little bit more. Some days I need to urinate alot. I still can't find a trigger but drinking carbonated soft drinks does not help.Anyway, one of the guys who i'm at University with (training to be a doctor) think it could be diabetes.I'll keep you posted anyway. This affliction has cost me alot in terms of relationships and general mental health.

  • I'll keep updating aswell then.I've given up with Doctors tbh..Hearing "I don't know what that is" doesn't exactly fill me with confidence...

  • Mooching on the internet and reading what other people have experience suggests that the stomach problems could be related to parasites and it's best to see a specialist...I really dislike going to the Doctor's as they're not specialists and they seem almost as if they don't care and I'm annoying them...

  • After mooching on the internet and reading what a lot of people have said, the best thing to do is go to a specialist...although I don't know where one would be or how to arrange something. Some people have experienced parasites aswell but nothing too major. Hmmm....

  • For the past 2 hours I've just had a constant bloated cramped feeling...the first time I've had this. From reading other peoples experiences and mooching the internet it may be parasites of some sort, and the best thing is to apparantly see a specialist.I have no idea how to....great.
