My seven year old boy started with severe abdo pains 10 days ago. Since then he has vomited a few times and had an intermitant high temp. Four days ago he was in so much pain I took him to the hospital. They kept him in over night and gave him painkillers. They tested his blood and urine and even tested for diabetes but found nothing wrong. They sent him home the next day with pain killers and said it was gastroenteritus (spelt wrong I know) Since then I have been pulling my hair out. He wakes up in the morning feeling not bad his tummy ache is only slightly there. He is hungry so I give him some toast. but by early afternoon he is screaming in pain and holding his tummy, I don't know know if I'm being sensitive as no parent likes seeing their child in pain but I don't know what or if I should do anything. He has vomited once since coming home. He is drinking plenty in the morning so I don't think he is dehydrated. The meds are not touching the pain. Please advise.:(
