  • I had those symptoms some years ago and the problem was my apendice which was in anormal position and got inflamated as usual but the crise of apendicity was not normal because its position. I stayed during 1 month suffering until it was solved with an emergency surgery because then the inflamation had spreaded to intestine and uterus, my condition was much worse that the doctors decided to open and they disclosed the apendicity.Hope you have a good doctor to disclose faster your problem. And don't be afraid of exams, think about something lovely, let your mind go away from your body, I've had very hard health problems and that always works good.Sorry for my english, it's not my mother language.

See a diff doctor. It could be anything from Crohn's, celiac, bacteria infection and so on. Get tested for a variety of things. Good luck.

  • Don't worry about what it might be for now, focus on preparing yourself adequately for the colonoscopy. Follow the directions closely and make sure you are well cleaned out. One of the reasons for a prolonged, painful colonoscopy is inadequate preparation, so the endoscopist has to insufflate excessively and spend way too much time in there washing the wall of the colon to see. When you go there, ask for lots of medication. Explain your apprehension and be quick to ask for more medications throughout the test as needed. Good luck, and remember to relax your **m and abdominals!!!

  • Sounds like an apendix problem due to the location. Don't be scared! The only pain you should feel is when the "turn the corners" in your colon. If you are in pain don't be shy to speak-up and ask for more drugs. This should not be a severely painful procedure. However, having bowel movements that frequently can lead to dehidration and a host of other problems. Be sure to be BOLD when talking with your Dr. and tell them EVERYTHING....don't be afraid to speak up and tell them if it hurts!...also I'd suggest you ask for a "complete blood work-up." It's only giving a little blood, but they could find a lot from that. Also a CT scan and/or X-ray wouldn't be a bad idea. Remember, you're the one in pain/xperiencing this, not them!~!!! So tell them what you want and make it clear how severely this is changing your life! Good Luck!! ;-)
