Hi,
Im a 20 year old Female.. and I have had stomach problems as long as I can remember. I have had medication after medication and nothing seems to work. I am 5ft2 and only 93lbs. This is pretty normal to me because my mother was the same size as well when she was my age. However her weight did not fluctuate as mine does. One day I will weight 85 and the next 94 or 95. I go through patterns every month where I can barely eat anything for days at a time. My hair regularly falls out from where I dont eat like I should.. I try to make myself eat but it just makes myself feel worse. I have been prescribed Prilosec, Zantac , Pecid AC, and many others I cant even begin to name. Does anyone else have this problem? My weight fluctuate just started this year so it really has me worried.. any advice would be appreciated! thanks

  • You need to see a good gastroenterologist, because you need to clarify in extreme detail what happens to you that results in your not eating for days. There are all sorts of things it could be, from erosive esophagitis (bad reflux), to HP ulcer, to choledocholithiasis, to SMA syndrome, to cyclic vomiting, to mesenteric ischemia, etc...etc........the list goes on and on and on. You need to be seen.
