my mom has a severe pain as she swallows anything in the throat.
she feels as if something is scratching her throat.
food also sometimes stucks in and she has extreme difficulty to take it in.
her age is 45 no h/o weight loss or D.M,asthma.
she has already done an antibiotic course but was of no use.

She needs to see a gastroenterologist for acid reflux. Acid Reflux can cause difficulty with swallowing and can cause food to get stuck. It can lead to more serious problems.
