  • I went to the ER because I have pancreatitis and the pain was about to push me over the edge. My family doc had prescribed me high blood pressure medicine. It basically was a water pill. The ER doc told me that someone with pancreatitis should not take these types of pills. I have fought pancreatitis for 6 years. I average about 2 attacks a year. But since 10/06 when I was put on high BP medicine I had 3 attacks of which 2 was in December. I think my ex-family doc was trying to kill me. Needless to say the tests that they ran were cat scan which showed thickening in my intestines. They diagnosed me with ileumitis. Not sure if the spelling is correct. They kept asking me if I had pain in my lower right. My pain is directly below my breast bone. But if you look at a diagram of your intestines you will see where the large intestines go into your colon on your lower right. If they did not go up far enough to view your intestines and only your colon they probably didn't see your problem.
