Pain in lower left abdomen

I'm hoping someone has a suggestion for my mystery pain in my lower left abdomen. Some days are worse than others and reduce me to lying on the couch. The pain can be quite sharp. Nights are worse than days and it keeps me awake. Oddly the pain seems to move around to my lower back where (like now) it spreads right across my lower back and feels more muscular
BM's are normal.
Sometimes I feel nauseous.
Normally food dosn't seem to affect it either way but I'm sure the pain was worse after a curry last week.
I am a 36 year old woman and have had cervical cancer and a radical hysterectamy as a result. Given my medical history I have been for a sonar on the affected area and all seems fine.
Generally the pain is manageable during the day but my sleepless nights frustrating.
Any ideas?
