:( ok this is gross, but I just want to know if anyone knows...or can help
I have been sick for a couple days now, and I wasn't eating to much when I was sick, I got sick on tuesday, but still ate dinner that night. I did eat when I was sick just not alot, ok so now i'm feeling alittle better, and I do not have an appetite, its like my stomach doesnt want the food, I force myself to eat at least twice, but just dont feel like eating at all.
ok here is the gross stuff...I have been diagnosed with IBS with constipation, and had to start taking Zelnorm. I use to take laxatives but not all the time, just had a hard time going. Well today I saw blood in my stool, and the 2nd time I went it was tiny...and skinny, and it has been skinny for like a month, but not like this, it was just weird. I also think i'm bleeding there as well, I dont know...i'm not scheduled for a colonoscopy till April, which isn't to far away. I want to call my gyno so she can do a rectal exam.
I dont know I'm going crazy. PLEASE HELP

  • hi I have had similiar to your symptoms... i get diarrahea intermittently a lot with lower left sided abdominal pain. i have had this for about 5 years now. i used to pass mucus but over time i am now passing blood along with the mucus and whether or not the stools are loose there is always the presence of blood. I have lost a lot of weight when an attack comes on and feel really drained. After a rectal exam with my doctor who said there was a lot of blood, i was sent for my second colonoscopy. I have had 2 colonoscopy (one recent) they took biopsies but said otherwise it was normal and they did not find anything wrong. It is very frustrating as it is ongoing and ive tried eliminating things from my diet, eating more fibre, reducing alcohol etc and nothing has worked.

  • Get on the best quality probiotic you can afford, and try to find one with several strains in it. This is the best thing to help with IBS, constipation, and diarrhea symptoms. This helps rebuild your intestinal flora. You can even insert one at night into your rectum...it is very helpful for hemorrhoids and constipation. Drugs like Zelnorm have quite a few nasty side effects, and dont treat the root cause of this disease. IBS is caused by leaky gut syndrome which is usually caused by candida overload. Google candida or visit these websites: www.candidasupport.org or www.wholeapproach.com. Western docs aren't trained to treat candida, except thru antifungal meds which are very toxic. Sometimes alternative medicine is more beneficial, and I believe that is very true in the diagnosis of IBS. There are Chinese herbs specifically helpful for blood in the stool...find yourself a good Oriental Medical doc who is NCCAOM certified in Chinese herbology. Visit www.acufinder.com for more info. Please look into this and get yourself some actual help:) Best wishes.DOM

  • Please do not listen to anything Shula or Acuann tell you. My sister just passed away because Shula and Acuann told her that her doctor was wrong and she did not have a serious condition. Acuann even told her to get acupuncture to get healed. These people are going to be investigated for practicing medicine without a license. Shula and Acuann are specifically wanted in connection with my sisters homocide. Thats right homocide. If she would have listened to her doctor instead of these internet quacks she would still be here today. Rest assured I will do everything in my power to put these two behind bars and shut this website down for good.
