hi. got back from a holiday in tenerife. last few days there i had a few spells of severe shakes that lasted about half hour, thought it was just too much sun. then i felt faint one evening. then, within 12 hours of returning, i suddenly felt really really sick, more sick than ive ever felt. horrible... thought i was ok next morning. ate something. later that day, sick again until bedtime. this morning, bit better.
saw doc. had fever, didnt realise. also have throat ulcer, didnt realise either. he said nothing about my sickness or severe nausea. told me flatly 'you shouldnt go on holiday.' (yeah, thanks doc).
i was so sick, never been that ill before, i was terrified.
anyone have any idea what is going on? could this ulcer in the throat have made me nauseaous and sick? or is that seperate???
i also have felt really, really weak for days. probably from lack of food.
just want to be better. doc gave me tablets for my throat, antibiotics.
hope my stomach gets better too. also heard that Tenerife was rife with the norovirus, but not sure if that is what ive got.
