After getting my gallbladder removed two years ago I have had no appetite. Meaning I wake up at 6AM and FORGET to eat and drink until 3PN. No hunger pangs, no feeling of thirst and then WHAM! I'm dizzy and insanely thirsty. I'm a full-time writer and artist but I'm by no means a workaholic. I've tried setting timers to eat but even then I feel extremely full after two bites. After three I can get down a Venti Starbucks frapp and Apple Fritter, which keeps me going until six or seven. By eight PM I am so tired I can barely move, so I either order a medium pizza and split it with my roommate (who unlike me is overweight-borderline-obese from eating the way I do) or we go out to Olive Garden or Souplantation and binge on pasta and bread, which is particularly creepy for me because I don't know when I'm "stuffed" until I'm REALLY stuffed and that hits me all of a sudden.
I'm twenty-three, female, five-foot-eight, and 135 pounds. Never had any blood sugar issues but everyone else in my family is obese and my dad has Type II diabetes.
Any ideas why my stomach has unfriended me? I really DO need status updates!
