Nausea for 1 month, diarrhea for 2 years, bloating

It doesn't matter what I eat or don't eat ... I have been nauseous for a month, have had diarrhea for 2 years and always feel bloated. I am not pregnant. I started looking into Crohn's Disease and though I haven't been diagnosed it seems I have all the symptoms. I also found out that Crohn's Disease can develop after surgery. I had back surgery in 2008 and the diarrhea started directly afterwards.

I have tried cutting out dairy and caffeine and neither has made a difference. I had stool tests done and nothing was found. I am slowly going insane. Before back surgery I was normal ... now I don't sleep well, I wake up at all hours having to go to the bathroom and nausea started a month ago. When I have to go to the bathroom I get a sensation in my lower back as a warning. My stomach rumbles before, during and after a bowel movement.

I am at my wits end!

  • hi,my opinion is you should go to the doctor and tell him your concern about Crohn's disease. It does seem like your symptoms could be caused by that.My partner has Ulcerative Colitis which is related to Crohn's disease but only affects the large intestine. The symptoms of nausea would suggest a higher chance of Crohn's than UC (due to being further up the digestive tract) although the Mr did get nausea later in the progression of his UC before it was diagnosed. If you're suffering from diarrhoea since 2 years that's pretty bad! definitely something needs to be done! O_o (and you could be dehydrated?!)
