I am 22 and eat healthy, don't eat out too often and get my daily excercise. I have tried switching my diet around by cutting out dairy and gluten among other things. Nothing worked.
I had the bloating, gas, embarrassing lower intestinal/colon type sounds and serious abdominal discomfort as well and just the same I went to my doctor. I had blood tests for about 15 different things and they all came back normal. My doctor even sent me for an abdominal x-ray which came back clean too. The doctor decided that trying metamucil (fiber suppliment/ keep you regular) would be the last alternative for me before trying antibiotics which I would have to be on for the rest of my life.. not cool. So I tried taking it once a day (recommended a teaspoon up to three times a day) to see if it would make a difference for me.
I know this is one of the many sites I went to hoping I could find answers and I just want you to know I found one that works for me :D:D:D I am so excited.
I have been taking one teaspoon a day and I have been free of ALL of these symptoms for about a month now. :D
I am really hoping you guys find something that works for you.
