I am 16 years old and 2 Months ago I started feeling some extreme pains in left side of my chest. I ignored them at first. Now they are disgracefully painful. Roughly 1 month ago i went to the hospital complaining of really bad chest pains. The ambulance men said i was having an anxiety attack, now i am NOT an anxious person. The doctor said i had maybe pulled a muscle and prescribed me with a load of Ibuprofen. Finished 2 week dose of Ibuprofen, still just as painful. Went to hospital again when the pains were particularly extreme. Basically they said stop wasting our time as you are not seriously injured. *Anger*. This morning (1 month later) i went to a doctors appointment. He asked me to describe the pain, i described it as all around the left side of my chest, stabbing pains, midleft back pains, rib pains and that the pains were sometimes quite "Airy". He looked at me like i was crazy. He said he thinks i am suffering from Muscular Skeletis or something and prescribed me with 86 Ibuprofen and 38 Paracetamol.
17:56 pm tonight i found this http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=8637&page=1.
I can relate SPECIFICALLY to eevry pain and symptom that this person describes.
Gassy, hunger pains, abdominal pains, the feeling of never being comfortable no matter which position i move myself to, small cracks around my chest when i move, fidgetting, burping makes me feel slightly better, bad breath, hair is dry and falls out, after i bathe/shower when i dry there is dead skin all over towel, poo is not broken down properly and comes in small pieces, constand tiredness, not able to sleep at regular times, loss of appetite or huge gain in appetite at times, breathing problems, flatulation at times, standing up straight is agony, VERY stressed out at those close to me as a result, *weird* the constant feeling that my back/ribs should crack when i bend but they WONT and other symptoms that i cant think of.
All tests the doctor does (lungs, heart etc) negative of anything. Beginning to get furious at nobody taking me seriously because i am 16. I havent exercised for 2 years, i havent ate over 2 meals a day dfor about 2 years, i have been more stressed the past 2 years and i weigh 8 stone at 5ft9.
I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some advice about this, i don't feel safe going to my doctor again as i described the pain wrong to him, he probably will not take me seriously. Thanks everyone.
