I'm having abdominal issues. Severe pain which is stopping me from doing basically anything. Going for lots of poos, every day, for the last year or so. Sleep disturbed through pain and needing the toilet. I've had a million normal tests and I'm at my wits end.. my life is literally in ruins.
I was in hospital a month or so ago, and I sneaked a look in all my notes (they seem to like to keep them from you lol). I looked at the report from my colonoscopy, the bit about the biopsies. It listed like, the number of the biopsy and the features. Like Biopsy 1 blah blah blah, biopsy 2, 3 and 4 blah blah blah. And under one such list (I think it listed four different biopsies as having this) it said "microscopic colitis ?".
Its played on my mind a little bit, so I did a bit of reading.. and microscopic colitis could explain my symptoms. But, the way it was written in my notes with the '?' does that mean they weren't sure? Like it could have been but might not have been? I feel like maybe this is something that is being overlooked. Or ignored. Or whatever, I don't know.
Any help is much appreciated.
