Had a Lithrotripsy done 3 years back...ever since then, i have had pain in my front left side, usually lower..Different than the pain from my kidney stone pain.
The pain usually lasts 2-4 weeks then goes away for a few months then comes back..
Everytime it comes back the pain gets a little worse.
I had a colonoscopy done almost 2 years ago and nothing was found.
The pain was bad 3 months ago. I went to Dr and all he found was my white blood count is a little low..3.9/4.2 a month later..
Eventually the pain went away and i started eating alot more fiber.
Everythings been good til this past week..It's back and as painful as the last time..
It hurts most of the time but more after i eat or if i havent gone to bathroom in awhile..But i am not constipated..I went today yet i'm in pain..
I'm thinkin diverticulitis, cancer, blockage..dont know..
Any idea what it could be?

  • Had that for years and was tested for nearly everything. It was gall bladder disease. They never bothered to check because I was fit and slim--not the usual profile of a gall bladder patient. You may want to get tested.

  • :) Hi there, You sound so much like me...I am permantly constipated, eat a reg healty diet, went to see a Doctor at hospital due to (tooth ache pains thats the best way to describe my pain) in my lower left hand side. Went for a Baruim meal anenma then was sent for a colonoctomy (sry if spelt wrong) Was tole the reason i was there as my doctor who refered me thinks i have a narrowing of my colon!! I have put the fear of god in myself now, been looking for the narrowing of the colon on this site and comes up with nothing. I suggest you go to your Doctors and get refered to the hospital. They can do tests which put your mind at rest... good luck
