I am a 56 year old male. Last year I had a double bowel resection with Iliostomy in February. Parts of the Rectum and Sigmoid were removed as well as part of the ascending colon. With the reversal of the Iliostomy in May came fiery bowel movements with immediate rash which neither the Surgeon or Gastroenterologist can fiqure out. I have given up dairy and sugar as well as everything else for 3 weeks at a time with no change. The weird thing is, When this stops, all internal and external burning ceases and the rash clears up within hours. This sometimes happens in the middle of a movement. The condition returns in a matter of a day or two without regard to food and will last 5 or more days.
Has anybody ever heard of this?????????????? HELP PLEASE
