Insatiable hunger and diarrhea

I've been sick for a year now, it started of with severe abdominal pain and headaches and vomiting, progressed to constant nausea and headaches with frequent diarrhea and vomiting, and hormonal problems. I have lost my overall appetite and dropped 20 punds in 3 months without effort.

However, for the past 3 days, I can't stop eating! I don't nessecarily have hunger pangs, I just can't stop, and it takes forever for me to get full. And today, I literally, as gross as it is, lost about 2 pounds in diarrhea. I haven't gone that much, well, almost ever, and I wonder if it has to do with why I keep eating.

Any thoughts?

  • Research Celiac Disease. This is a condition general physicians are not familiar with the myriad of symptoms, but your symptoms are classic. I had to beg my doctor for testing, and what do you know, Celiac Disease. Once I began treatment of a strict gluten-free diet, my symptoms disappeared. What an amazing change. You may have additional symptoms you don't recognize because you've grown so accustomed to.
