How do I know when to go in to the doctor's? There are small to minimal amounts of blood coating my stool and pain during and for a short time after going. As my mother recently went in with the same symptoms (only more blood) and was diagnosed with a hemorhoid, I'm both more likely to trust her... while at the same time worried that her judgement may be biased. The fact that I have been known to worry excessively over some things makes me want to get another opinion.
