I am a 27 year old male with major gas problems. 6'2 230Lbs. Health otherwise fine. Bloodwork consistently fine. Fairly regular stool. Diarrhea once or twice per month.
It seems that the gas persists, regardless of what I eat. I have no problems passing the gas (I am not bloated). It is the sheer volume and smell that is the problem.
My diet is generally VERY clean. According to my dietary requirements, as outlined by the nutrition guide, I meet or exceed every single micronutrient requirement. I do not consume dairy. I eat a digestive enzyme tablet with my food (http://www.nationalnutrition.ca/detail.aspx?ID=1253). I do not drink pop. I do drink about 5 - 7 liters of water per day. I also take pro-biotics in the morning and before bed.
I am consistently consuming approximately 1800 - 2200 calories per day, and exercising approximately 2 hours per day. ~1 hour hard aerobics or weight training, and 1 hour hot yoga.
At this point I am open to anything..even an intestine transplant :)
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
