I have been having problems for the last five months with heart burn, sore scratchy throat and right chest discomfort. I am now on my third perscription med for the heart burn which seems to be helping some. The heart burn and sore throat is better (not gone) but I still have a gas bubble like pressure/burning pain in my right chest and some times right scapula area. I occassionally also have waves of nausea. I had my gallbladder removed about a month ago for a stone which they thought might have been the cause of the right chest discomfort and nausea. Any ideas if this chest discomfort might still be a result of the heartburn or esophegeal reflux or what?? Anyone with similar symptoms and ideas for relief.

  • I've had similar symptoms.Constant chest pain below breast bone,Heart Palp, sore throat, difficulty swallowing .Went to Dr. and had EKG ,blood tests,Barium swallow and CT heart scan. All tests were negative.Dr thinks I've got Reflux and put me on PPI medication.I've been using medicine for 6 weeks and still feel same.I think next move is to "swallow a camera".Will keep you posted.
