I am a fifty year old lady who had a total hysterectomy twelve years ago. Within the last few months I have developed three hard masses on both sides a little higher than my navel on both sides, also one on the lower right, which is different in shape and the doc thinks it is a hernia. Occasionally I get a dragging pain in the lower right region. My bowel habits fluctuate from constipation to very loose stools and sometimes I can have up to four bowel movements a day. Often I have to get up in the middle of the night for a wee but don't pass more than a few drops. My stomach feels a little swollen too but I am not sure if that is because since i stopped smoking five months ago I have put on about three kilos. Otherwise I am quite well and active but am often tired.
I have two "nobbles" on my lower back but I attribute those to muscle as I had a laminectomy of the c4/5 twenty years ago and they often come as a warning back ache! I am on a low dose of HRT. I am having an ultrasound on Thursday.
