Hi all

Right this could be a long one!! For about a year now I have been having lots of gastro problems. I get lots of heartburn, indegestion, reflux and also i get lots of nausea and the main problem is alot of the time after eating (especially dinner) i have to rush to the toilet and then feel really tired for the rest of the evening. Sometimes in the morning i feel really sick too. I have tried not eating wheat or dairy and i have kept a food diary and there doesn't seem to be anything that triggers it. The other day i had really bad upper abdo pains which lasted for 3 days and today i have got pains in the right side of my back. The doctors keep tyring to say its IBS but I am not convinced....any ideas?

Have you tried cutting down on the carbs? It could be hypoglycemia. These are my symptoms and remeber you do not have to have all of them. I have the fatigue like you mentioned after eating, colitis, craving for sugar, allergies, indigestion, unusual frequency of urination, skin eruptions and inflammations. An easy way of finding out is cutting carbs for a 2-3 weeks. And eating small meals every 2-3 hours. If you notice improvement, then you might want to ask your doctor for a 5 hour GTT (glucose tolerance test).
