Hi all
Have had this problem for quite a few years. I'm getting frequent nausea, and occasionally vomitting (once every 3 months) which usually lasts for about an hour and a half. Usually starts with sweaty palms, gasey stomach, nausea, need for a poo or two, I become unsettled, hot and cold and eventually sometimes when its bad vomitting.
Initially started about 8 years ago I think when I got sick for no reason (vomitting) and then nothing for about 3 years. I then got sick again and that was followed by constant nausea and another couple of vomitting episodes. Saw some doctors who poked and proded (ultrasound, gastroscopy) and found no problems. They put me on a drug I think it was called ZOTON, which eased it a bit. Eventually after about a year I was symptom free again. Just recently I have started having these symptoms again after having no symtoms free for 3.5 years.
Have been having the nausea again for 1 year and aprox 5 or 6 vomitting episodes. I'm beginning to wonder if it is mental as well now as whenever I'm out for dinner (at friends or restaurants) I get really nauseus just worrying about getting ill that night, and hence don't go out very much these days.
Anyone got any ideas.
