For the past two year I have been experiencing a sharp pain in the upper right quadrant of the abdomen. The pain is so sever it causes pain in my right shoulder. It will occur about once a month and will last from about 4 to 6 hours. It only occurs during the night. I have had a upper endoscopy, ultrasound, blood work, HIDA Scan, but my GI can not find anything wrong with my liver or gallbladder. There is no blood in my stool, I will sometimes vomit due to the pain but not blood is present in the vomit. Im not constipated. there is nothing i can do to remedy it, i just have to let it run its course. Is there anyone experiencing the same issue and have you found any solutions?
