For the last 11 months I've been having stomach pains. My doctor put me on Prevacid, back in January and that has worked at reducing the pain for 10 months. However for the last month or so the pain has gotten a million times worse. I am in pain 24/7 I am unable to go to school, spend time with friends, and overall enjoy life. I'm trying to get in to see a GI, but the closest appointment I was able to get was sometime in December to see a nurse. So they put me on the cancellation list, and hopefully I'll get in that way. The pain is all over my stomach, and it feels like a sharp pain, almost like something is pounding or stabbing my stomach. I also feel like stomach fluids are leaking up my throat like I'm going to throw up, but I never do throw up. My doctor has told me it's an Ulcer, however I doubt ulcer pain would go on like this.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
